Cascina degli Ulivi - Azienda Biodinamica

This is the only wine that we make with purchased grapes. The fruit comes from Francesco Brezza’s Tenuta Migliavacca and it is cultivated using biodynamic farming.

It is a very typical Barbera, young and easy to drink. It is perfect thoughout the meal, and especially with red meat.

  • Grape varieties: Barbera 85%, Merlot 15%
  • Harvest: by hand in small boxes
  • Yield: 5 tons/ha
  • Yeasts: grapes’ own
  • Maceration: 21 days
  • Evolution: fermentation in big wooden vats; ageing 7/8 months in big vats, and another 7/8 months in 500 l barrels.
  • Total sulphites: 35.0 mg/l
